It's really hard to understand your own feelings when you've never truly experienced them before. It's hard to tell if you like someone, and it's especially hard to read your feelings when they like you back. You're not a bad person my dear. You're just young. If you're anything like me, you'll make this mistake at least 5 more times -_- And don't worry. David will grow up (at least he better, else I might castrate him). Life goes on. Even now, <i>I</i> have trouble figuring out my feelings for guys (with the exception of Steve, of course). Take Dale, for example. I thought I liked him, and I was ridiculously close to actually making it official, but I realized I didn't like him that way. You remember, I assume. And I have these kinds of uncertainties *all the time*. Actually, I'm having a bit of one right now. So don't beat yourself up for what happened.
